Examples of Maths Marking in KS1

Here are some recent examples of marked Maths work in KS1 and how response marking is helping the children to develop a growth mindset and positive attitude to learning.

 In this piece of work, the pupil has been asked to use the odd and even rule to categorise this number. 

 

In this piece of work, the pupil has been asked to clarify how many sets of ten are in 41. This question has been specifically asked to check this pupil’s understanding of tens and ones.

  

Within this piece of work, the pupil has simply been asked to check and correct their answers. Learning from mistakes is a really good way to learn!
